Privacy & analytics

We use first-party aggregate statistics to understand which pages and services are useful. You can turn them off below.

What aggregate analytics collects

We count page views and clicks on contact, service inquiry, pricing download, and checkout links. Analytics runs by default unless you turn it off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. It uses no advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, session recordings, or browser analytics identifier.

Our server processes your IP address briefly to estimate daily unique networks and a broad country or state. Daily network estimates use a transient keyed bitset sketch, not a list of individual visitors. People sharing a network can be counted together; changing networks and automated traffic can affect estimates. These are approximate network counts, not counts of people.

Country and state estimates use a local, offline GeoIP database. We do not send your IP address to an external lookup service. The database is provided by DB-IP. Regional groups with fewer than five recorded page views are suppressed in reports. Server-side bot filters reduce automated traffic but cannot remove every bot.

Analytics does not retain raw IP addresses, user-agent strings, per-person identifiers, browsing histories, query strings, referrer URLs, names, or email addresses. Aggregate counts and temporary sketches stay on AI-Rey’s server hosted by DigitalOcean. Routine hosting and security logs are separate, as described below.

Retention and control

Aggregate daily counts expire after 90 days. Daily sketches expire after their UTC collection day ends, and hourly cleanup removes expired data within the following hour. The upgrade to aggregate analytics removes the older consent-based daily identifier records.

Your on/off preference is saved in this browser. We respect an existing “off” choice, Global Privacy Control, and Do Not Track. Re-enabling analytics cannot override a browser privacy signal. Clearing browser storage removes your saved preference; browser privacy signals still apply.

JavaScript is required to send analytics or change this browser’s saved preference.

Booking and payments

If the booking page displays Google Calendar, Google collects your booking details and handles the calendar invitation under its own privacy terms. AI-Rey uses the resulting appointment to arrange your call. Your visit to that embedded calendar makes a connection to Google. The standalone booking form described below is a separate option.

When you book a fit call, we store your name, email, phone number, optional company, task description, and appointment time on our server. These details are used to arrange and deliver the call. You must verify your email before Roberto reviews a first-time request. Unverified and unapproved requests do not reserve slots. Confirmed bookings receive a calendar attachment. Unverified submissions are removed after 24 hours during later requests or mail processing. Verification links and confirmation links are private. Keep them private. Roberto may explicitly allow a known, verified client to book automatically after email verification.

To limit booking spam, we temporarily keep a keyed hash of your network address and an attempt count. Network counters expire after one hour; a hashed email counter limits verification emails for one day. Expired counters are removed during later requests or mail processing. Hosting access logs are separate. Contact us to cancel a booking or request deletion of your details.

When online assessment payment is available, the payment button takes you to a payment provider. It handles your payment details under its own privacy terms. AI-Rey uses the payment record and contact email to arrange your assessment; this site does not collect card numbers. Aggregate checkout-click counts do not tell us whether you paid.

Contacting us and basic server logs

If you email us, we use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship. Routine hosting access and error logs may contain network information such as IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps for operating and securing the website; these are separate from aggregate analytics.
